Mice are incredibly adaptable animals and make up over 40% of the mammal class. Rats and mice are the best known and most widespread rodents in the world.

More than 2,230 species have been identified, although only three types are considered significant pests. The most common species we meet are:
a. The gray-brown light mouse, known as the house mouse (Mus musculus)
b. The black roof rat (Rattus rattus)
c. The brown-black sewer rat, known as the Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus)

Rats are omnivores with a wide variety of food items. Their diet consists of cereals, seeds, nuts, meat, eggs, dairy products and even chocolate while they have little need for water. Rats will usually eat whatever they find in front of them and will only attack when they are starving.

The main objective of myocide is to completely rid the premises of mice, which are one of the most important public health risks due to the transmission of serious diseases to humans, because mice are hosts for fleas. It should be noted that the large population of rodents poses many risks either to humans or to the environment.

In order to successfully combat them, it is necessary to know their biology, to know how to apply the means of control and to understand the special conditions of the area infested by rodents. Myocide is the process of getting rid of rodents in indoor or outdoor areas and preventing their reappearance.

The prevention and control of mice is carried out using bait stations (in selected parts of the coverage area, with special protection markings for humans). In professional food production areas, no active chemicals are used, but mechanical capture and neutralization traps. The products we use for muscle killing are harmless to humans, environmentally friendly and odorless. Depending on the frequency of appearance of mice in the premises, the corresponding periodicity of the application is recommended. The same data determines the parameter that will be used by our specialized workshop.
